| Apalachicola - History lives in beautiful Apalachicola, a city that was once the third largest port on the Gulf of Mexico. Today it boasts more then 200 National Register buildings and homes, making it the perfect place for a walking tour. Stroll past Victorian homes, stopping in the art galleries and antique shops. The bays and waterways are terrific areas for kayaking, canoeing, sailing, and powerboating. You might also enjoy at tour of the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve Center or one of the historic sites. The entire Forgotten Coast offers amazing fishing, water sports, and scenic boat tours. |

| Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum - Enter the world of the strange and creepy at Panama City Beach's Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum. Set in a ship-wrecked vessel, this unusual museum has halls of exhibits, wacky tunnels, and plenty of bizarre things to see. Watch your choice of two different 4D movies that hurtle you down a track at top speed, dodging ghouls as you go: the Mine Shaft and the Cosmic Coaster. The museum also includes a gift shop, so you can take a taste of the weird to friends and family back home. This attraction opens at 10 a.m. every day. |

| Shipwreck Island Waterpark - This tropical theme park is the ideal place to take the family on a warm summer's day. With 20 acres of slides, pools, and rivers, this is a terrific place to cool off. You can head to the 500,000-gallon Ocean Motion Wave Pool, splash down the 660-foot White Knuckle River, or take the Tree Top Drop. The park has plenty of slides from the Pirate¿s Plunge Racing Slide to the famous Zoom Flume. You can inner-tube with friends down the Rapid River Run or meander gently down the Lazy River. The park also includes plenty of snack shops, rest areas, lockers, and ice cream stands. |

| Gulf World Marine Park - Head to Panama City Beach's Gulf World Marine Park for daily dolphin shows, animal exhibits, penguins, sea turtles, sea lions, and more. You and your family can catch the Exotic Bird Show, the California Sea Lion Show, the Reptile Show, and the Dolphin Show (times vary seasonally, so check ahead for current show times). This is your chance to swim with a dolphin! Kids can enjoy Dolphin Day Camp or being Trainer for a Day. With colorful parrots, seals, fish, and other undersea creatures to watch, you can easily spend a full day. The park also sponsors a wintertime concert series. |
